I only ask because maybe it's possible to replicate this in Somalia, unlike Japan which was relatively advanced and powerful since the late 1800's, Korea was a gaajo country like Somalia until the later 20th century. Now they are one of the richest, safest, and most prospourous countries in Asia despite being taken over and controlled by the Japanese, and the Korean War and all that stuff.

Is it possible to have this same economic change take place in Somalia once security is reached? Other African countries that are safe are still poor, which is mostly because of Western intervention(i.e foreign companies mining resources from Africa) and corrupt leaders who take Western money and let that happen.
