How credible is this theory about corporate america and the somalis youth?

Of course the kids would be loyal to their schools… that happens for any high school in the U.S. It’s community building by going to Friday night football games, after school activities, pep rallies and tournaments, etc. School spirit is taken very seriously in the U.S.

I was in after school academic competitions myself and enjoyed competing with other schools. Abaarso gives some of these kids opportunities they wouldn’t have had, and it does it without the clan or elite politics. You have to be dedicated no matter what background you come from, poor/rich, city/nomad.

Be careful with conspiracies theories, there were already a couple that got the school almost shut down like they’re turning the kids Gaal. Now for their seed funding program, that seems a bit nefarious to me. But investing money is never free and this can be said with any type of business… investors are shareholders who will always have a piece of the pie.
The kids u tallong odc they will be loyal to their schools in America since tht is their country and lands but Somali kids teen adults shouldnt be loyal to foreigners schools and foreigners and to America and Investors job is only to double their money not have ownership of it i think this is scam they shouldnt have no ownership of it and not have influence over it

Total lies.

That school has had zero cultural impact in Hargeisa or Somaliland, forget about Somalia. It probably made a few white people rich but it's no different from any NGO. At most, it's just a racket. It opened like 15 years ago and we don't know any famous Somali person who graduated from there.

I haven’t seen a normal graduate of abaarso in west. There all messed up, drinking, partying and getting tattoos because that’s just not normal for someone who just came to the unite states from Africa. Stuff like this is mostly done with say wlh and kids who came in their young age. No grown somali straight from the motherland gets tattoo in their first year in the United state. Something is fishy from this school.

Damn, i was almost sent to that school when i was sent back to hargeisa... i don't remember why i couldn't get in as it was time ago, maybe because i wasn't accepted or the prospect of boarding miffed me, it was also because me and family heard that the kids that graduate get sent to ivy league universities.

If they accepted me and sent me to ivy league universities, i would definitely have paved the path for them to control somaliland which is why i think she is right although she sounds a lil kookoo.

Get these white people out, i knew in my heart there was no way charity would get them to open schools and run them themselves in somalia.
They wouldn’t let you in because you are diaspora, they only let really poor kids in and I think it has the reputation because the elites and the diaspora couldn’t bribe their kids way in. Lol you think diaspora parents would give up the chance for their to have the western education that could get them to Ivy League and have their kids in Somalia

I respect the hustle, Somalis have always used outsiders as a proxy in conflict, maybe it’s best they utilize them for stability.
