Some newbies think Habeshas are not Cushitic because of language. Habeshas are majority Cushitic, so they are close to the surrounding Cushites (Agaw, Sahos, and Afars) especially.

They aren't significantly mixed with Yemenis. They are mostly a local form of Cushites closest to Agaws and Sahos.. Habesha stem from Agaws.
Semites look like Mohammed bin Salman. Clearly this is not the majority of their origin.

The closest group to afar are saho.
Afar are more pure than we oromo and somali which is why their numbers are lower. They didn't assimilate as many people.

mate, afar aren't purer than Somalis, the Ethio-Somali component of the DNA found in all Cushites that makes us related, reaches a peak frequency in Somalis, ergo Somalis are the purest Cushites in existence today although we obviously aren't 100 percent pure ourselves

As @Apollo said there is no such thing as "pure" Cushitic. we cannot know for sure Somalis being the "purist", because they properly use proxy that is closer to Somalis because they have no Omotic DNA, Somalis also have native Somali hunter gathering ancestry. We have ancient Cushitic speakers from Kenya, but not the the Eastern Desert (Where Cushitic speakers originate)
I never said Somalis are totally pure, just that we are genetically the purest existing cushites, this is a genetic fact: look at the distribution of the Ethio-Somali component dna in cushites, Somalis carry the highest amount, almost zero omotic dna except ogaden region somalis whonhave like 1 percent, and no recent arab dna unlike habesha ..I ain't saying we are pure, but we sure are the purest cushites that are closest to the original cushites vis-a-vis genetic clusters
