She expressed her discontent with the direction ethiopia is headed in. She hails from the tigray region.

She further said: “I cannot cooperate while I am witnessing a dictatorship in the making.”

Exactly. The amhara and tigray regions are not content being ruled over from oromia.

:whoo:

Don't talk about things you have no clue about. Anyway, good riddance to the speaker of the House of Federation. She served as the right hand women for the TPLF dictatorship and now she resigns accusing PM Abiy of dictatorship. What a joke. The real reason is that TPLF lost its power in both the parliament and the house of federation and she as chairman knows she will only be serving the majority vote which PM Abiy party controls. She used to execute TPLF's wishes 100% the time, now TPLF has lost power she doesn't like the job anymore i.e. serving the majority in the house of the federation

I have been giving your comments the love emoji, because you are Xabashi and have a female picture.

The question is, are you a female?

I'm for abiy all day, he seems to understand that all the regions have to have equal treatment in ethiopia, it's some tplf nut cases that can't handle this humiliation of being power deprived. Besides i have hunch that abiy made a deal with the region of galbeend that they can secede down the line if they wish.

I'm just along for the ride and enjoying tplf tears

You know what infuriates me, you promoting stolen lands of the southern nations. The SNNPR region has been struggling with land grabs from Ethiopian government for a decade now.

The same land you are promoting, is the land that was grabbed by the government. Over 100,000 people got evicted of their land, and they were given no compensation.

The source above also says something about the afar, and them losing their pastural area. Forcing them to find new area to feed their livestock.

" No such thing as virgin land. Both UNFAO and World Bank officials told Econoff there is no completely unused land in Ethiopia. Almost all "unutilized" land that is not fenced off is used for livestock grazing, so the impact on livestock could be substantial. Ethiopia is dependent on livestock not only for milk, meat, and byproducts, but also for animal traction for plowing and transport. Livestock populations are already showing stress from being excluded from dry season pasture and water along the Awash river in the Afar region due to huge GoE farm irrigation schemes to grow sugar, cotton, and sesame. If livestock are negatively affected by becoming increasingly susceptible to drought and other environmental shocks, this would have a potentially huge impact on agricultural production in the dryer highland areas as well as loss of livelihoods in the pastoralist areas. Another challenge in this area is that many populations are semi-nomadic and shift their farming operations every couple of years. The GoE claims it is factoring these patterns into its land verification, but this traditional lifestyle could present investors with a compensation claim issue a few years down the road"

When the afars lost their land, they started fighting the Somali nomads for their land. The Ethiopian government is supporting the afars with military power, because they were the ones who caused the afar to lose their land.

You are full of outdated information. Under PM Abiy, the land grab by foreigners has ceased. And just for your information the majority flower farms are located in Oromia and Amhara. Don't talk about issues you don't have a clue.

the video specified which area they were in. It is located in SNNPR region. Are you going to deny that?

No, I said the MAJORITY flower farms are located in Oromia and Amhara for logistical reasons i.e. near to Addis Ababa airport. Flowers must be exported quickly mostly at the same day. And again for your information the huge land garb under TPLF was in Gambella region and not SNNPR. Yes land grab under TPLF affected many regions but no other region was affected by it like Gambella. Anyway, this is all history now. Let's talk about today and tomorrow and not duel in the past.

I am really starting to hate the tigrays, are you one of them?

No, I am not but I don't think hating a whole group of ethnic group is a healthy thing to do. I hate TPLF too but I can't imagine hating Tigreans as a whole in a million years. That is sick tbh.
How do you think the xabashi stay in power despite being a minority and owning the least land? Just a question. I'd imagine Oromos should have overtaken a long time ago with their vast numbers
