Bilāl ibn Rabāḥ (Arabic: بِلَال بِن رَبَاح), c. 580–640, was one of the most trusted and loyal Sahabah(companions) of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He was born in Mecca and is considered to have been the first mu'azzin in history, chosen by Muḥammad himself.[1][4][5][6] He was a former and was known for his voice with which he called people to their prayers. He died in 640, about the age of 60 (or just over 60 in Hijri years).

He came from the superior Horner race. He was usually called a Axumite by his companions.

Abd Al-Rahman bin Abdullah al Shashi(Arabic: عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله الشاشي) (b. 1829 - 1904), popularly known as Sheikh Sufi, was a 19th-century Somali scholar, poet, reformistand astrologist.

Sheikh Sufi was born in Mogadishu, where he founded the Qadiriyyah congregation, an Islamic school of thought or tariqah whose disciples included colleagues of his such as Uways al-Barawi. He studied astrology and wrote extensively on the future of Mogadishu and religious sciences, and authored popular books such as Shadjarat al Yakim ("The Tree of Certitude").

Besides his scholarly career, Sheikh Sufi was known as a great mediator between merchants and shop keepers in the coastal cities. As a reformist, he is credited with having put an end to what he considered to be the urbanites' immoral dancing rituals.

Holy based. Saved somalis from twerking far before it spreaded to the majority of us.

Do you know the name of a Muslim Somali Saint that brought Islam to the Oromos? His tomb is still in Ethiopia.

We need to come together and appreciate one another. We are all beautiful people with distinct culture and histories blessed by Allah. Us Horners need to bring back the glorious civilizations of Punt, Axum, Abyssinia, Adal, Ajuuran. It’s a shame we’re getting surpassed by others who weren’t comparable to us before. Somalis were going around trading with the ancient civilizations since the before the classical times. And Eritreans and Ethiopians who were creative with their civilizations as well. We all have our qualities and skills that are desirable and needed to one another. The infighting amongst the brothers need to end. We need to return to our once prosperous state as a people.

Rome was not built in a day first thing first is create a peaceful coalition then we begin with talks. We tried brute force last time and it got us in this hole.
More like the Soviet Union and America punishing us for attempting to subvert the status quo. Ethiopia has been the west’s little anchor in the region since 1500s.

Only because we got double crossed by the Russians, that and Somalis did not back down when it came to colonial powers, unlike the Ethiopians and Kenyans.
