Farmaajo Vs Mahiga
Fresh after getting the fatcats from Nairobi in a office to Mogadishu and a public stand-off with Amisom to keep marching forward and not stay in their cushioned bases watching TV.
The best was still to come, Mahiga the African UN representative for Somalia at that time, a man feared by many wielding a lot of power able to break presidencies, ordered hot-blooded patriot Farmaajo to his compound at the airport from Villa Somalia like he was some poodle stooge.
Farmaajo totally lost it and went on a tirade, he hung the phone up on him and told him how dare he as a foreigner summon the PM of the country in which he is a guest, instead Farmaajo summoned him to Villa Somalia immediately, this resulted in Mahiga starting the process of getting him removed.
Gaafow Vs Gabre
This is my second favourite one, midget Gabre sits in every meeting between Somali's across the entire Somali peninsula, most recent ones are the Somali election and MP's meeting in Qardho which prompted P/land vice-president to speak out and ask him to leave Somalia all together.
But lately the buffoon midget got so arrogant he deliberately allows himself to be pictured at those meetings as well so it becomes public knowledge and even carries a gun to them, the bastard even shamelessly boarded a flight to Turkey for exclusive Somali business meeting.
This was until he decided to gate-crash a meeting between old school Gaafo and the DIR general that was murdered as a result of this by their lackies, Gaafow was the first to ever ask the midget what he was doing in this meeting, Gabre was never asked this question before.
A heated argument ensued and he was forcibly removed by the intelligence services, this was reported all over the Somali media as Gabre being arrested at that time, the beef was so big Gabre went back to Ethiopia for a while for it to calm down, he never sat in any Gaafow meetings since. @Canuck was reporting that he was removed as well in a thread around the same time on here, it was true, but only temporarily, message sent was don't f*ck with Gaafow.
Sh Shariif Vs Zenawi
He asked Zenawi in AidsAbaba point blank shortly after he was elected President in front of a Western delegation "if he has any business left in Somalia?" bemused officials and Zenawi asked for clarifications.
The Sheikh then went on a tirade how he destroyed Somalia, is causing divisions, funding tribal groups, killing it's people on masses, destabilising it for two decades, and then he repeated "is there anything else left for you in Somalia" in an angered tone.
The people at the delegation were horrified at all this, Zenawi was dead silent and asked for a private chat , Sheikh Shariif refused until he answered the question. Zenawi than accused him of being brainwashed in Asmara by Afewarki when he was in the opposition, it was a tense stand off.
As a result of this heated dialogue, they made sure his presidency much like Abdiqasim never really did much, in a meetings we had with him, he lamented how he shouldn't have done this, as it galvanised the enemy further and it ended up backfiring on him.
C/Yusuf vs Gabre
After weeks of indiscriminate artillery fire and bombardment of Xamar by the Ethiopian's, C/Yusuf threatened to arrest Gabre whom at that time was the General of the Ethiopian army.
This is the least known story told to me by one the guards of Qeybdiid whom was the head of police at the time witnessing the whole thing, he instructed them to arrest him, it resulted in a brief shoot out, Gabre learning of this physically attacked C/Yusuf (that's were the famous he was slapped came from, more like a fight)
Nonetheless it was a brave thing to instruct the arrest of the general of the Ethiopian army assisting his very survival in Mogadishu by a rag tag police force, it almost sounds comical, but literally Somali police was instructed to arrest an Ethiopian general by a Somali President.
Tarzan Vs Ethiopian Foreign minister @ Chatham house London 2016
In a meeting attended by the foreign minister of Ethiopia, Tarzan whom was in the audience acting as a independent journalist in the Q and A session that was about East African politics.
Asked the Ethiopian foreign minister whether he considers Somalia as a sovereign nation, and when the response was 'yes' he went on a tirade why his government repeatedly violated it's territorial integrity, how they are an occupying force and before he could finish he was escorted out of the building.
I have been trying to find a video of this ever since, but several people whom I know were sitting there including Tarzan himself have told me how it went down. He was obsessed about this, unlucky for him no camera's were allowed in and nothing is published.
