Honestly i don’t understand Henna for Somali

It is clearly an arab custom, so why some of us are into it ?
I am curious to understand how you arrived at the conclusion that the use of henna is exclusive to a particular ethnic group.

The henna plant is not typically found in desert regions, but it does grow naturally in the Somali Peninsula.

In fact, I recall my sister collecting henna leaves from the forest to create her own henna mixture.

It's worth noting that the use of henna is not limited to any one specific ethnic group.

It's a practice that's been part of many cultures across Asia and Africa, including our own.

Don't tell me that you're trying to attract that annoying ajnabi hefexhefx (of whatever the hell their name is). That nigga hijacked my "red henna should be banned" thread by saying henna was from his ethnicity, ignorant bastard :westbrookwtf:

It was invented in ancient Egypt, our ancestors were doing henna long before the Arabs and Indians
Does anyone the meaning behind the word cilaan? I see some Somalis use the two words interchangeably. You are correct: Henna another cultural relic of our East African past.
