Wallahi I’m beyond shocked. Just visited a missionary church in Sweden for a school work and boy did I see bunch of Somalis there in church eating free food.

This should neither be a surprise, nor a shock. If I am not mistaken, most Somalis have been brought to the US by churches, which looked after them, even after their arrival with paying for their housing, food, and assisting them with jobs etc till they could stand on their feet. A good example is the Lutheran church.

So was the case in London in the earlier years. Other refugee communities including the Hmong have had similar leg-up and initial support from the churches.

I'd not let these Homeless Somalis near my house. I may give them money on the street out of bitty, or gave them food as sadaqa. But never let them inside your house out of Saviour mentality, these are different breed.

The Christians were blessed with compassion and mercy- that is why people who are hungry go to them. Also that is why they welcome us to their Christian western country when Arabs are saying- How dare you give these Somalis US Passport?

Muslims should live in Muslim lands and be safe and practice Islam in their lands. Arab Muslims are correct in expecting us to live in our lands and stay safe there. There is nothing good about being in Darul-Kuffar where you don't know how your offspring will turn out to.

It’s true tho, Christiananity is already a dying religion but they’re quick to service the community and help the poor. Zakat and charity is part of the 5 pillars of Islam. As Muslims we gotta do better

In Pakistan and Egypt, the mosques do provide food, shelter costs, and clothing as well. The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt started by providing social services where the Egyptian state wasn't.

In the West, the mosques here don't have enough congregation for them to provide those services.

Thats because 90% of mosques in the West are Salafi/Wahabbi, they are very insular and business oriented. Suufi mosques back home would often feed the poor and house the homeless but Salafis wouldnt, they are heartless

This isn’t a new occurrence. Churches are notorious for giving basic needs at a hidden cost. They only seek to have more people leave tawheed for kufr and shirk.

The churches are also most likely benefiting in a worldly sense from saying they feed the poor. Charitable acts are not done out of altruistic purposes when it comes to majority non-Muslims. The masjid may not know the path to get the free meals like the church does or they may have tried but weren’t able to. If you truly care, you would attempt to investigate the reality by going to the masjid and speaking to their leaders. Then, you would see how you can help make this a reality in your own capacity.
