It's by an Aussie feminist with Arab parents who observed that feminism or at least feminist rhetoric is frequently weaponised by white girls against African/Asian/Arab/Aboriginal/Black-American girls and digs deeper into the topics discussed on this thread.

A good general rule of thumb is if you see a form of female empowerment being pushed in the media and white women are not the face of it, chances are that it is being used to push a harmful or even downright colonial agenda (like how everyone pretended to care about Iranian people's oppression in order to attack Muslim women who wear hijab by choice in Sunni Muslim countries)

I'm encouraging people to understand other perspectives more deeply so they can navigate more easily. Medical researchers don't study cancer because they love disease but so they can determine alternative treatments and rank them from most to least effective.
