Well start this story with the Cushites a people who spoke an Afro- Asiatic language living along the shores of the red sea in modern-day Sudan, the northern branch of these people constitute the Beja people of today (Some of you guys rumor a Cushitic aristocracy in the kingdom of Kush they would have probably been northern Cushite too). Well today we will be focusing on the eastern Branch were proto- Somalis would come out of one day. The migration southward took hundreds of years but by 3000B.C.E the Eastern cushites have split into the eastern lowlands and the Eastern Highland cushites.
The Eastern lowland cushites moved into the South of Ethiopia, there the Somalid peoples like the (Somalis, Rendille,Boni) moved into Southern Somalia, the rendille moving south about 1500B.C.E .
the boni were traditionally hunter-gathers and still are there language being related to the Garre Dialect of Somali.
