The Viking were just travelling rapists I don't know why people idolise them. They'd get their ass handed to them by a subpar army in the Middle East in the same time period.

The age of Samurais died out after isolationism because they would never win a proper war against guns and a more modern army plus there really was no need for them.

Spartans are the sucky version of the Romans. Romans made great warriors, so did the Ottoman's. During the middle ages various Somali kingdoms or sultanates had great military combat records.

And of course who would forget the Mongols, they were both violent and creative. The Persians were good too.

Drug addled pillaging rapists, how's that any better than some khat chewing mooryan in Somalia? I remember reading the US had to create a new bullet because they couldn't down Somali militias high on khat
