I basically want Puntland to be for the Harti Woqooyi what the US is for Israel. Unlimited open ended support no matter what they do.
They start a war with iidoor? full support. They choose peace? Full support. They march on Burco? Full support. They work with the FGS to dismantle the constitution? Full support. They attack Puntland's troops? Full support. Puntland troops should go unpaid so that we can give more aid to Harti Woqooyi.
Woqooyi Bari is more important than Puntland. Woqooyi Bari first.
This is, of course, a very strange view for someone from Puntland to hold. I just think that secession, i.e the permanent consignment of the idea of Somaliweyn to history's dust bin, is an unconscionable crime against future generations. It must not be allowed to happen, no matter the cost.

I don’t think he’s a Somali let alone idoor, I have seen some suspect patterns which I will continue to observe.

I think Woqooyi Bari matters more for Somalis as a whole than Puntland. It is the keystone that is holding up the potential of a future Greater Somalia that is able to incorporate Somali Galbeed when Ethiopia eventually collapses. If Somaliland is able to secede, the rump Somalia that remains will be economically, demographically and geographically to weak to hold Somali Galbeed by force. It may start a cascade of secessions in rump Somalia. Unacceptable.

What I gain from this is that the land inhabited by Harti along with its resources are shared with me and not with iidoor. It also means that iidoor are not stationed within artillery distance of Bosaso, Qardho and Garowe. There are purely geopolitical reasons for Puntland to oppose secession even if the Harti Woqooyi become supporters of secession.
Puntland has no cadow in koonfur other than Al Shabab. The existential enemy of Puntland is Somaliland which wants to destroy what Puntland has spent decades building. Luckily for Puntland we only have to hold on until the Harti Woqooyi's massive advantage in population growth over the iidoor begin to bear fruit in the next 15-20 years.
