Mogadishu Sultanate was founded by Abu Bakr ibn Fakhruddiin, who assumed leadership over the independent city states in the Banaadir, there were four: Xamar, Shingaani, Marka and Baraaawe.

The city states had their own culture, the Banaadiri culture, and their own dialects of Somali (Af-Xamar or Ashraaf), Swahili (Bravanese.Chimwini) and Arabic. Ethnically the dynasty self-identified as "Arab" but we would recognize it as Reer Xamar. The population was an urbane and cosmopolitan, from a number of different ethnic backgrounds. The leading and oldest families were descended originally from the Himyar colonists from ancient times, and the Fiqi of Mogadishu by custom had to be from the Reer Fiqi who were Himyar Arabs.

From visitors like Ibn Battuta it appears the working language of the city was not Arabic, but was probably Af-Reer Xamar. The people of the city probably spoke Arabic and Swahili fluently since it was a regional trade hub.

there where no bantus there as far as i know the area was settled by arabs or some other niggas

The far south Kismayo and the coast south of the Juba River was originally Swahili territory, the Swahili in southern Somalia are called Bajuni, but today they only are a majority on the islands off the coast from Kismayo the Bajuni Islands.

Kismayo is a Bajuni name for instance, it is from the Bajuni "Kisima yuu" which means "northern well".

Somali people have lived in the area for centuries but traditionally not along the coast, but rather a little inland, whereas the coast was historically Bajuni territory. This changed only in the 19th and 20th centuries.

A different Swahili group who spoke Chimwini also lived in Baraawe but together with other Reer Banaadir and were not a majority there, and they were the northernmost Swahili people.

Muqdisho is waay older. Muqdisho was founded by proto-Somalis way before Bantu migration even settled in Kenya. The Proto-Somalis used to trade with ancient greeks, Ancient Egypt, Phonecians, Babylonians and other civilazations. Oromos or Axumites never reached the horn of Africa. There are archeological evidences that Proto-Somalis with the same genetic dna as us today inhabited the Somali region for at least 5k. A Bantu or a bedouin Arab have no evidences while there is evidences that Somalis first of all are distinct from Oromos, Amharas and that Arabs never conquered the horn and that Bantus are not native.
