Ethiopia benefits from sland billions of dollars a year while sland gets nothing in return, so if oromo dont behave the government should ban ethiopian khat and see if oromo survive against the maruading amhara and tigray armies, we have a huge leverage against them but we aint taking advantage of it.

The problem is that the Oromo in power are backward who know nothing about governance and politics.
Therefore, talking to them will be of no use until change occurs in Ethiopia and the Amhara and Tigray return to power.

Their agenda is clear, they want zeylac coastal lands in exhange for nothing sometimes with ictiraaf and they built army to achieve that.

Here is the thing, Zeylac is a choke point like like suez canal, if Ethiopian forces stationed there than we bassically gonna be landlocked nation, so the question is who gonna give away its most strategic height for nothing?

And the other thing is that Ethiopia won't ever support somalia against anyone no matter what, be it somaliland, puntland or jubaland, they want fragmanted and failed somalia, so no need to worry about addisababa supporting tuugsade xassan sheekh, its their best interest not to support xamar administration and they know it

So there is no point in discussing with abiy, let him deal with his fano and TPLF and lets us negotiate with the rest of the world

Ethiopia is not going to recognize Somaliland right now.
They are running around with Somalia trying to get funding for AUSSOM.
Their preference is too keep weak FGS alive, last year FGS had much better situation.
