Hirshabelle Administration is preparing for Lower House elections in Beledweyne


The Governor of Hiiraan Ali Jeyte Osman and Mayor of Beledweyne Nadar Tabaax Maalin are ensuring the electoral venue sites are well secured for the hosting of 25 Seats in Beledweyne City in Hiiraan. This is largest voting location in Hirshabelle State.

The chairman of the Federal Electoral Commission Cirro as well as his Vice Chairman Mowlid Matan will be arriving to Beledweyne tomorrow/next week. Sources also say PM Rooble to also arrive with Dabageed.

Federal Electoral Commission Arrives In Beledweyne, the SEIT Head of Hirshabelle Elections Ahmed Hassan Diini as well as the Vice Chairman of the Federal Commission Mowlid Matan both arrived today. They were welcomed by the Governor of Hiiraan Ali Jeyte Osman and Mayor of Beledweyne Nadar Tabaax Maalin. They will ensure 25 Seats are selected in Beledweyne as it says on 17 September agreement.

FEIT delegation confirm Beledweyne is safe and will be hosting the 25 seats in the upcoming Lower House elections in Beledweyne. Guul iyo Gobanimo ❤️😏😁
 

The federal election commission delegation that arrived in Beledweyne are touring the city especially the electoral venues. The elections are happening in LamaGalaay Military base as well as CeelJaale next to the airport.

Nothing to do with Gudlawe really, UNPOL (UN Police) is the one that delivers the vehicle to Hiiraan Police and Middle Shabelle Police respectively.

25 seats is a lot and is the most seats in HirShabelle State. 2/3 of the whole lower house seats from both Hiiraan and Middle Shabelle will be selected here and of course Beledweyne can handle it. We have the logistics and equipment and also the recently renovated hall in LamaGalaay Military Base and the hanger next to the airport in CeelJaale. We got this. :salute:

Today, the Governor of Hiran region Ali Jeyte Osman met with AMISOM officials and officials from UN agencies with the aim of accelerating the work of the Lower House of the Somali Parliament which is expected to take place soon in the city. Beledweyne, the capital of Hiran region in the upcoming fortnight.
