Do you struggle with wearing the hijab? & Why?
yeah, as somalis never teach their kids the islamic worth of a hijab, its more of a cultural thing, and the furthest you're told is if you take it off youre a destined for naar. this isnt good and will just deter people away, we should teach the beauty, not scare people with it. there are a lot of dugsis in toronto teaching hijab importance tho so thats good.
i wont lie, if i cant be bothered to do my hair i put on hijab sometimes. hijabi with good make up is an undefeated look
Yes I used to be insecure to wear the hijab when I was around 13 14 then decided to not wear it for 4 years until I was 18Do you struggle with wearing the hijab? & Why?

What do u mean with white girl bc last time I checked u can not act a skin colorYou're saying Somali's as if all Somali parents don't teach their kids about the hijab. If you choose to act like a white girl, that's your problem.

White girl as in a girl who doesn't cover her body, doesn't wear a scarf, and basically acts like a sharmooto. Where's your logic?
im not sure if you have limited braincell count, but clearly my issue was not with teaching us about hijab, its the fact that it is not translated well to most somali girls. its more important to understand it in order to respect it, which is missing in a lot of somali girls who have the hijab and and dress like s, and sin in those scarves. rather you do all that without disrespecting the hijab
i can send you threads upon threads of somali girls acting and literally being s with the scarf on. a lot of them even lack modesty and think a scarf on the head makes up for it.
if the hijab was taught well to somalis, those interested and interpret it the way muslims should would wear it , and those who dont wouldnt. but fear and misinformation has led to ***jabi culture
I take mine off sometimes when I want to. And tbh when I finally move out from my parents I’ll probably wear it less or not at all.
What does prayer have to do with hijab? I like how I look without wearing a scarf and I feel like it restricts me.Why? You might aswell stop praying then
