These types of helicopters are easily shot down by AA guns which everyone in the country possess.
SNA has been decimated by HSM’s incompetence and greed. This won’t change things
What navy? We don't have a navy. We have fishing boats that would've been considered low level transport for a regional coast guard detachment. We haven't had a real navy since the kacaan. Two utility helicopters were also delivered in February for the Navy
The TAI/AgustaWestland T129 ATAK is a twin-engine, tandem seat, multi-role, all-weather attack helicopter based on the Agusta A129 Mangusta platform. It was developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI)[1] in partnership with Leonardo S.p.A.[2] The helicopter is designed for armed reconnaissance and attack missions in hot and high environments and rough geography in both day and night condition
That’s what happens when on the ground forces are made up of tribal armies who want qaniimo for their clan wars and tiktokers who want to impress the chicks. With the capabilities the Somali Air Force has direct control over (eleven helicopters of various types, TB2s & Akinci ), along with the support of US drones and intelligence, there’s no reason to run away from niggas in slippers.
If I’m being honest, that should be the case even without all this support, but we are where we are.
Those helicopters are all utility helicopters and the SNA doesn’t operate drones. They can request airstrikes but America has too many restriction and more importantly, SNA lacks effective(or any) reconnaissance. I think they even heard of it lol. With the capabilities the Somali Air Force has direct control over (eleven helicopters of various types, TB2s & Akinci ), along with the support of US drones and intelligence, there’s no reason to run away from niggas in slippers.

That said, SNA’s purchases so far have been very smart and tactical. light utility helicopters, and now arguably the best light attack helicopters. Next should be cheap reconnaissance and attack drones.
But none of it will matter if they don’t improve land reconnaissance, get batter at fortification military bases and overhaul their entire doctrine
A liberated Middle Shabelle where it's people move freely amongst each other is a threat to Villa Somalia. With the capabilities the Somali Air Force has direct control over (eleven helicopters of various types, TB2s & Akinci ), along with the support of US drones and intelligence, there’s no reason to run away from niggas in slippers.

How so? I was under the impression that it was Harti that is trying to derail HSM's train and make us hop on the Sharif one.A liberated Middle Shabelle where it's people move freely amongst each other is a threat to Villa Somalia.

They had 2 missile boats & 6 torpedo boats for the longest coastline in Africa in the 80s.That isn’t a navy, sounds like a Mogadishu coastal guardView attachment 362943

There were multiples of these ships in the service of the Somali navy during the kacaan and our navy was very much equal in comparison to our neighbours like Kenya and Yemen so I'd say we had a real navy by east African standards.
Compared to other African countries of our size and those on the region it was clearly enought considering we didn't have people dumping nuclear waste of stealing our maritime resources. What should we compare to it to? You have a lot of gall trying to tell us what a navy is when Somaliland coast guard is made up of dinghys and broke fishermen armed with small arms. They had 2 missile boats & 6 torpedo boats for the longest coastline in Africa in the 80s.That isn’t a navy, sounds like a Mogadishu coastal guard![]()

But was the territorial integrity of Somalia's EEZ ever threatened? If so don't you think the navy did a good job protecting it.Gedo boy. There was no effective navy contrary to your retarded claim whether African shitholes at the time had a strong navy’s isn’t relevant to the discussion.
Nor is comparing it to other Somaliland who doesn’t claim to have a navy anyways nor did I claim SL today had a navy. You made a claim and got your ass handed to you about these 6 boats supposedly defended 3000 km of coastline and 830,000 sq KM EEZ. As for gall, Today you are occupied by Ethiopians & Kenyans in Gedo and you have the nerve to even speak. Free Palestine & Free Gedo.
