The answer is simple. We are in the Arab League. All members in the Arab league have sided with us in the Kenyan dispute because of that we are siding with Egypt. The last reason we are gonna side with Egypt is because Ethiopia has cut off water from one of our rivers before and lots of livestock have died which has hurt local economies. Ethiopia will be using this threat to change political decisions in the future they can't afford to bribe us for U.N. votes like how China does with other asian countries. Water will be the most expensive thing in the future and Ethiopia got all the cards in their deck. We need to side with Egypt there is no neutral positions in this matter. Put down the we wuz Ayrabz trope and think about benefiting us in the future.

Nope. Take a neutral position. we don't have a stake in this while we are weak and disarmed. We have to thing about our own interests. Our neighbours are harder to have as enemies, than egypt which has no reason to destabilise us. Also arabs are treacherous, they always have their own interests and you'd be stupid to believe their government cares about the somali ppl.
We can support them if ethiopia completely dams the rivers, which will not happen because it's against international law. Right now we have a good relationship with oromo ethiopia, if the tplf ethiopia comes back then we will be first in line to attack them with Egyptian air support.
Right now we need to stabilise the south and focus on that, not fedearl states, not egypt or ethiopia and certainly not arab matters.
The icj case support means nothing because we know damn well that the arabs would not intervene if kenya invaded today like they did in 2011. The arabs only gave us a vote of confidence because everyone knows the icj is in our favour hence why kenya keeps avoiding the court. Also turkey has promised to arm us if kenya invades, and that's enough to beat the kikyu army and take NFD.
We have nothing to gain but success this year.

We know Arab league is useless so we are not angry about those countries who made Egypt feel better. So we still see Somalia as a friendly country.

The United States won't let its puppet in Cairo go without proper water for a few years. It will cause instability in the Middle East and they'll sit idly buy as US built F-16's bomb the project if need be. We should stay neutral tbh we don't have a horse in this race. Ethiopians are being unreasonable. Egypt already agreed to the 38 billion cubic meters (55b normal yearly amount) but Ethiopia refused to sign and are now saying they would only allow 30b per year. they also want to start filling the dam without signing anything. Ethiopia needs to stop being stubborn or else this could be their downfall

Lol. you're on crack cocaine if you think Egypt wants smoke with Sudan and Ethiopia. Army size doesnt mean shit, they got their asses smoked by the Israelis(who are like a few million strong) last time around they went to war.
Also Sudan/Ethiopia can cut the water supply to Egypt as they didn't benefit from their Aswan Dam project.
The only reason why a war hasn't started over this is because Sudan has been very neutral in this dispute
The reason Arabs lost(Sudan included lmao) the October war was due to the fact that Egypt had no air-defense at the time and the Israeli superior Air Force(USA supplied them with an unlimited amount of fighters) and yet Egypt got Sinai back.
Things have changed now tho. It's not just about the army size. Egypt has superior military hardware thanks to USA yearly military aid since 1978.
On the other hand, I can see why Sudan is siding with Ethiopia. the Aswan dam was a disaster for Sudan. Many villages were flooded and Sudan didn't get any electricity out of it. On top of that, Egypt took Halayeb and Shalateen
by force.
Its about time Sudan breaks out of the useless "Arab's" sphere of influence. but they have to play their cards carefully and not fall into abiys trap.
