Ah, I have heard alot about men in monogamous relationships cheating, a very common occurrence indeed.
As a muslim woman, I do believe there is a wisdom behind God's decree. It is what it is

My problem with some somali men however, they are willing to jeopardize the family they have for a qutbo siiro fling.

They rush into having a second wife when they are not financially stable. When they have never invested in their children's education nor have a bond with them.

It is always quantity over quality when it comes to these men. That is why polygamy can not be a success with their mindset.
Either the first wife and children are abandoned or the second wife is divorced in less than a year.

Men who have a sense of responsibility and a realistic view on polygamy are strategic about it. So the wives are pleased, children are looked after and everyone is happy.
