Have you seen muslims show solidarity towards Somalis?

I’m talking about the guys point above saying we should feel embarrassed for asking for support when it’s our own brother that’s hurting us, we should not have this mentality it’s hypocritical
I didn't see the other post. I disagree with the other guy.

Who tf cares about pride if people back home are at risk of starvation? That's some dumb shit.

We should absolutely let the world know when our people need help, that way we can save more lives.

Not the same impact as the other blacks that died, shukri abdi is a serious case regarding racism unlike fentanyl users and pedos who won’t surrender to cops. Those guys got social media and full blown protests around the world. We got ‘but yall don’t even claim black until it’s beneficial for you’

The UK BLM website has a page dedicated to Shukri Abdi.

Many UK Black activists called for justice.

What are you on about?

:ayaanswag:

It seems one-sided if you ask me. Somalis are the first to show support towards Palestinians and other muslims when they get fucked, but I've never heard (or seen) other muslims talk about Somali famine, natural disaster or refugees and their plight.

You care about other people only as much as they care about you, not more or less, otherwise I don't think you respect yourself.

What are you talking about.

So many prominent Blacks in the UK and even the US talked about Shukri Abdi.

Even Ice Cube was involved.

They had a complete 180 when somalis did their own thing. After big marches and social media traction they went along with it. But the first reactions speaks volumes to me.

hell no, blm turned their back on the somali community. they were literally saying it wasnt their issue at the time. Also they were nowhere to be found when the young somali man died in police custody in cardiff. A whole issue they are supposed to be at the forefront of.
That’s cap, so many black figures from the UK reposted and helped to raise awareness for Shukri Abdi, and for the Somali man. I saw it myself but believe what u want

I dont care about random individuals and there fluffy "words" that dont amount to anything. I was speaking about organisations that are supposed to help out in the real world. Something along the lines of what the muslims did.

Whats the point in awareness when no one takes action?

Action>awareness

@Okoj
Calm down, why do feel the need to swear? Not everyone can support in the most practical way like providing a lawyer. And when I first replied to you I said non-Muslim and you immediately started to rant about blm.

You have issues, because a repost is still something at the end of the day. Seeing as you’re so upset at blm, what did YOU personally do to help Shukri Abdi or Mohamud Hassan?
