Have you ever had your package stolen?

I ordered clothes (jacket, hoddie, jeans) from online on Black Friday week. I got a message while at work that my package was left on my doorstep, even though I didn't tell them to.

The worst part is I live in an apartment complex, on the upper floors. So it had to be one of my neighbors or the delivery guy.

Anyway, today when I was leaving the flat one of neighbors comes out of the elevator with the same jacket and hoddie that got stolen. He didn't make eye contact and quickly walked passed me.

Would you confront him? What would you do in the same situation?

I would tell him « Nice jacket and hoodie. I ordered the same but some low iq animal stole it. It’s ok though, he probably needed it more than me ».

Jokes aside, there’s not much you can do about it unfortunately.

Sounds like you can take this grievance up with the company? You didn't consent to them just leaving it at your door like that and it was lost as a result. Has to be some case you can make. As for the saaxiib, unless you wanna throw hands with him and get into a dangerous situation where you might see jail time yourself I'd just leave it as is, walaal.

The company won't compensate because apparently I set deliver at door as default.

I live on the ground floor of a 14-storey building and I ordered some clothes but this dumbass driver left it at the door and told me to pick it up whilst I was in the shower and 20 minutes later I come out to check my phone for the message and go to the door but it was already gone.

Another one was 2 years ago when I ordered an iPhone 11 but it was never delivered and I later found out that the driver stole it.

Sxb he's a kid and lives with his parents next door and to be honest I can't prove that he stole it from me and it would be embarrassing to accuse the kid.

Well atleast get your money back . I ordered something from Amazon and didn’t get it so they refunded my money . I ordered again and received it .
