Maybe it's because Somali fathers are not as involved as other fathers are. They literally hand over their parental responsibilities to the second wife which make the kids more vulnerable to abuse

But my cousins did, their step mom was a wicked lady. Tell me why this lady would only feed her kids and tell my cousins to go their rooms because she didn't make enough food. Before anyone puts the blame on my uncle. He was involved in his kids lives, he was working and attending school for his master. He would not sleep until he made sure my cousins were fed, every time he confronted the witch, she would start crying and say the kids hate her. Mind you this was in Savannah, Georgia. So when my oldest cousin turned 14, the witch tried to talk shit. They all jumped her and locked her out of the house. My uncle came and sent her packing. He won custody on the kids he had with the witch!!!!


Now the witch lives in MN and I make sure to talk shit to her every time I see her. Revenge for my cousins!!!
