No matter how much FDK and hateful comments we leave each other online, deep down I’m sure most of us with dhiig iyo dadnimo leh are pained to see our Somali brethren get massacred by heavily armed and state backed oromo and Afar militias.

At some point we should settle our differences and grievances, if not soon and we continue watching each other get massacred and displaced from our lands one by one by a united oromo and afar militias, then there’s no hope for us.

I hope to God we don’t wake up 10-20 years from now when Oromo start claiming Jigjiga or another major Somali town.

Somalis after enduring 30 years of humiliation, they have become subdued and submissive, with many losing their principles and loyalties.

liyuu police was not established until 2009. Also, while we are it, what about the Ethiopian invasion of somalia proper in 2006? Ogaden is Somali like you, probably stronger than you can survive longer than you if it comes to assimiluation. Somalinimo is good for your more than it's good for me as ogaden.
