Why didn't the gov't ask other countries for assistance (if they were unable to do so on their own)?

France evacuated most EU citizens and other non-EU nationals as well. KSA evacuated people from MENA + India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philipines and Burkina Faso.

Yeah, and while US diplomats and citizens were being evacuated, that's when most other countries took advantage of this 'co-operation' with RSF and SAF. With the exception of a few remaining countries, which unfortunately includes Somalia

These countries would never help Somalis as they'd fear that they want to go to France or KSA. Realistically the only people that could help are Djiboutian, Ethiopia or Eritrea
