Has anyone watched this Somali Kenyan film on Netflix? Called Bufis/Daydreamers

Watched it yesterday out of boredom and it’s interesting for sure.

Is it just me or the light skin guy playing the main character doesn’t really look Somali? He looks African American to me lol

Somali Kenyans also appear to be quite liberal in this movie but idk if that’s an accurate portrayal.

It’s kind of sad that this is based on a true story. It makes us look bad ngl

I boycott all films that involve black Africans struggling, even more so if the film features Somalis.

We need to represented in a more positive light. If I wanted to see struggle, I'd go to Burco!

The movie is pushing liberalism/degeneracy.
Kenyan Somalis are not more liberal than say jubuuti.
U will find some degenerate ones, but u can find loose/degenerate people in xamar or any where else really

I’m boycotting this garbage movie. I’m tired of this qaxooti narrative and i won’t support a movie that’s ceeb. only positive uplifting inspiring somali films from here on out.
