Post it or it never happened. Do you've Somali blood in you? I'm asking you this because you are easily triggered, then break all bridges and seem to be angry all the time?

Are you serious? Is that how i come across....as angry? Nah iyah! I'm a very happy man...most of the time when i'm posting in here i'm happy.

He seems too hardcore to be from sanaag. Man is constantly angry and looking for fights. I know my people. Jubaland for sure

I'm actually a very nice guy......and i don't look for fights, i just give my point of view...whether i'm asked or not. Actually a major do-nothing holiday in the US today hence my increased activity. All good things must come to an end though.

Thanks for clarifying it, you've all the survival skills to socialise with Somalis, we appreciate more your type than the quiet bloke who will take every blow and be silent till he does a runner. Tell us some of the things you like about us, Somalis?

There aren't a lot of Somalis maids, when I lived in Gulf my parents had a hard time finding a Somali maid. There is Ethiopian maids tho, most maids are Southeast Asian mainly Filipinos. Honestly I never saw a single West African maid while I lived there maybe its a more recent trend?

What I don't understand is if the Saudi and the U.A.E both a practising Salafi ideology countries teach and insist that a Muslim woman requires a wali or a mahram to travel and she can't live with another man who isn't her weli and nor her mahram in his house, why didn't their scholars ban these Muslim women to work in their houses? Or, do they consider these maids to be slaves and thus avoid the ruling? @Lolalola what is your take?

They do have that sort of mentality. I remember my friends use to remove their hijabs in the presence of Pakistani or Indian men. Their reasoning was that they’d never marry such “men”. So what’s the point? They didn’t even consider them as real men.

Privately hired domestic workers are not the same as slaves.

To answer your question about whether or not female workers can travel without a mahram - the answer is flatly to put it is no. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “No woman should travel without a mahram.” This applies to all women. So men can't bring women from overseas if they're without a mahram.

Secondly, if there's a fear of fitnah when hiring female domestic workers, then husbands are better off not hiring them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No man should be alone with a woman unless her mahram is present.”

@A_A Since I'm not interested in marrying @Reiko does that mean I can take off the weaves from her head and see her "Madow" hair in Dubai? Interesting.
