One time when I was younger my mom was driving me and my Native American friends (really rich, their dad was a chief) home. So hooyo asks where they are from (cause they’re brownish like us) I forget the name for natives and call them Ajanebis instead, hooyo assumes that means they’re foreign, so she asks them again, they say they are from here and maybe thought she was racist , I had to apologize to both lol.
