I believe this tool can detect relations to different degrees from first cousin relations to even 6th cousin relations

I left gedmatch after their policy changes, but the features basically concluded my parents weren’t related. Both my parents are Abokor Isaaq (HA), which is approximately a 12/13 generation gap I believe

We are all children of Adam and Xaawa. Of course we are going to be related, especially within ethnic groups and within regions. But that applies to everyone in the world not just Somalis. Relatedness doesn’t immediately = incest or genetic defects.

I'm not quite sure since the chromosome painting and the amount shares between parents are conflicting. It explicitly states that "No shared DNA segments found", but I see some overlapping.
