Contrary to many peoples’ opinion, if Somaliland gets recognized it won’t be because of “colonial borders” it will be because of political expediency. If colonial borders was a strong enough reason you would’ve been recognized ages ago.
Will you control SSC again, probably not, but that’s up to the people of the region to decide. I think the door is closed but Somalis are a surprising bunch so who knows if the dynamics significantly change with recognition.
