How are you guys going to celebrate the new year

TBH I’m not ready for the new year


2017
Was a crazy year for me
All I can hope for is that 2018 will be calmer

I'm going to celebrate with my family and out of town relatives , they're coming to Mn tomorrow.
And my friend is having NYE party.


2017 was okay for me, I've gotten to know pretty cool person, I've cut off negative people out of my life.
I've done a lot of volunteer work this year and I feel pretty good about it.
My bestfriend gave birth and let me pick the name. Which was awesome.
I've started a business with my friend and it's going pretty good so far.

2017 had it's ups and downs but in my opinion was a great year. Political systems were upended, Somalia's government is working for the people for the first time ever, and new economic and social opportunities are opening up for diaspora youth. I think we should be humble and happy with the year we've had. Of course it wasn't all splendid for everyone out there. 2018 will almost certainly undo some of the progress of 2017 :/

1. Find my daughter who I heard lives in Norway and has kids of her own, and reconnect
2. Learn more about my culture and figure out what clan I am, for whatever thats worth
3. Buy a vacation property in Florida
4. Visit Somalia and come back alive

I will be celebrating with posh class of people partying near the parliament as I was invited by contacts in city halls I gained by helping direct the local elections and sitting on the board

2017 saw me:

First and foremost I had the pleasure of being recognized for my hard work and helping people who were abused or seeking refugee in Denmark

I bought a roomy apartment cheap in one of most expensive cities due to contacts made at work and trough friends of those

I participated in a marathon and I plan to finish the annual triathlon

My father told me for the first time in my life told me he was proud of the change from a rebellious to a responsible woman (he never approved of me taking law)

My siblings and I have reconciled after the tragedy of my mother made us all distant

And a christmas happen as found my equal in intelligence and humor, though she excels me in beauty, and it will be interesting where it leads

And of course getting one step closer to fully licensed lawyer and I am looking forward to where it leads in 2018.
