Yes the fool was pompous and announced he would be like salvadoran Bukele and would wipe out the gangs. The gangs had enough time to plan and coordinate and overran many police stations..
There are some gruesome videos of disarmed police being hanged right infront of like 10 other police dudes by like 2 or 3 gang men. Its quite scary how much power these cartels have over latin americans.
Bukele had a bigger gang issue but he dealt witht he scum by randomly seizing ,arresting and executing all gang members across the country in one swift move. This guy however announced then didnt act on it.
