I think we should take the Ku Dhashay approach. Why should a Somali born in Ethiopia Kenya or Djibouti be equal to a tax paying citizen of Somalia. We need to put our citizens first instead of putting emphasis on a "somaliweyne" ideology that hasn't benefitted us in any way shape or form.

Whats your thoughts. Do you think Ku Dhashay is better or giving citizenship straight away to any ethnic Somali even if they are Somali ethio/Kenyan/Djibouti?

Totally agree. I agree with them having to live in the country for a minimum of two years pay tax then they can receive citizenship.

Some of these people want to come straight from Jigjiga and Mandera and automatically receive the same rights and privellages as someone who is 10 generations in Somalia. That don't make sense.

Yes, and we need tax evidence and proof that they have filled residency requirement such as paying rent every month and salary.

They should make a diaspora one like Pakistan has. Called overseas ID I think, 10 million Pakistanis have it

I like Italy’s system. If your parent or grandparent is born in Italy you can claim citizenship and get Italian ID card
