I really wonder how differently things would have turned out if they somehow managed to make Somalis slaves.
I don't think it would go very well, they tried making native americans slaves but they weren't that physically strong and kept running away

If Somalis somehow were enslaved for generations I think you'd get to a point where a distinguishable minority group like African Americans would not exist. They'd be pretty much indistinguishable from regular white people. I don't think the discrimination against half castes like in actual American history would happen if they were Somalis lol, since most half Somalis tend to look like tan white people most of the time

Hmm. Do you think that 20% in common with Europeans would change the way Somalis look substantially compared to African Americans? It's a little surprising, because 20% is quite a lot but most of the time African Americans look more or less (but still distinguishable to an extent) like regular Sub-saharan Africans. Maybe a little lighter on average, but the general appearance is the same.
