I met a half somali/aa girl whilst I was a working as a waitress in a restaurant (she came from agency to help us out with an event), she seemed to br more in touch with her aa side bcs she said some somali relatives on her father side would say stuff about aa being criminals. I know of an oromo/gurage woman who had a baby with a black american.
but for the most part, ethio women marry ethio men, just like somali sisters only marry somali sisters.
i know a somali brother, from the tunni clan, who married a habesha woman too tho.
then there's a mixed indian/ethiopian family with beautiful womens Allahuma barik.
most somali families i know would only approve of their daughter marrying a somali, and maybe at the most, an ethiopian/eritrean Muslim.

I've seen a couple, I met one girl who I thought was fully Somali but she told me her dad is AA and her mom is Somali. All her siblings look somewhat Somali but she looked the most Somali. She was beautiful. They were a nice family.

somaliness passes through the paternal line, so if a Somali women marries a non-Somali her children won’t be Somali. There might be stigma towards a half-paternal Somali but the rules of ethnicity are strict lol, it’s like natives and their blood quantum or Jews and their maternal descent.
