This is happens in most coastal African cities seen some dirty beaches in Mombasa, Lido doesn't look that bad.seeing such a beautiful beach being desecrated is sad saxiib.

I actually agree the buildings are built relatively close to the shore but what’s it to you lol? Nimaan gaar ayaa leh those buildings and they ain’t no dooros that’s for sure.seeing such a beautiful beach being desecrated is sad saxiib.
What do you mean right on the shoreline?
How does your average joe build right up close to the water without their house collapsing.
Send me a photo!
Not too bad tbh. Only when it rains does it become a problem and the waves get stronger. On a regular Somali temperature day, it is beautifulLooks fine.
Just need some public amenities.
Tell me why has every Mogadishu mayor been from the same clan past three decades? Kulahaa doesn't belong to anyone is it an uninhabited desert? The city doesn't belong to anyone lol.

So the city belongs to the demography who have monopoly on it. I find it funny when folks who claim Xamar is for all can't answer a simple question, they always throw a tantrum about how Xamar is shithole when faced with reality. Typical homeless laangaab.I'll tell you reason why every mayor for the last 3 decades is the same.
It's the same reason why the city is f*c*ed.
Kulaha "Tell me why has every Mogadishu mayor been from the same clan past three decades?"
Getta outta here fr mane
The buildings should be where the road isI don’t want to hate but he is right, but reer Mogadishu aren’t to blame, just greedy developers.
Look at the picture below:

The place highlighted in red was originally part of the beach and the road is limit. However, now hotels are all on the sand giving the public less accessible beach space.
The place in blue should have been a parking lot as it has two streets
Let me compare it to Bondi Beach in my city of Sydney:

The difference in space is very apparent as development on the beach got pushed to behind the road. Whereas in Xamar, developers have built in front of it.
