What's it to you, its their city they can ruin it if they want
seeing such a beautiful beach being desecrated is sad saxiib.

This is happens in most coastal African cities seen some dirty beaches in Mombasa, Lido doesn't look that bad.
The city doesn't belong to anyone lol.

I actually agree the buildings are built relatively close to the shore but what’s it to you lol? Nimaan gaar ayaa leh those buildings and they ain’t no dooros that’s for sure.

So the city belongs to the demography who have monopoly on it. I don’t want to hate but he is right, but reer Mogadishu aren’t to blame, just greedy developers.
Look at the picture below:
The place highlighted in red was originally part of the beach and the road is limit. However, now hotels are all on the sand giving the public less accessible beach space.
The place in blue should have been a parking lot as it has two streets
Let me compare it to Bondi Beach in my city of Sydney:
The difference in space is very apparent as development on the beach got pushed to behind the road. Whereas in Xamar, developers have built in front of it.

You dont see the chinese criticizing the Japanese ppls beaches or vice versa
The shoreline in lido looks fine, there are many other beaches within driving distance from lido that are way better then lido

When the tide is high, most of the beach is gone and now the people will be trapped between buildings and the ocean.
Where is the space for changing rooms, picnic tables, chairs, lounge chairs, barbecue machines etc?
The solution for this is for HSM to force the companies that built on the beach to pay for land reclaimation which give extra beach space.
They damaged it, they should fix it.
