Had a relative die from Covid-19

I'd never thought it would happen to someone close to you. It's kind of a wake up call when you see people who you know die. I thought it would never happen to someone close to us but it did.

We don't take the stuff we have for granted. It just shows how volatile our life's can be and we're nothing compared to glory of Allah and this vast universe.

Wallahi you’re right subhanallah things like this should never be joked about. But sxb if it helps clear conscience there’s no better time to die (other than on Friday’s) than the blessed month of Ramadan.

In the first few weeks I thought it couldn’t happen to anyone I know. Now a bunch of people I know have it. It’s so bad that I’m assuming I’ll have it too at some point.

He's around his 50s and had children. I heard he smoked occasionally but no underlying health problems. He was in a como for a week and died later this week.
