The site's name unfortunately gives a misleading impression. Somalispot is a Black (not just a Somali) website and that of course includes Xabashi. Please enjoy your stay and contribute wherever you please.

I don’t mind Ajnabis coming to the forum and all. But they need to behave themselves and integrate to the forum rules. This is Somalispot. Where Somalis can discuss on the matter of their issues as a community. 🤷‍♂️

Tbh only reason I'm looking for another forum is because I realised that I consume way more Somali content than I do Habesha or any other ethnicity's for that matter, it's gotten to the point where I genuienly believe I know more Somali than Amharic words 😭
What brought u here curious?

Don’t forget there’s thousands of unwelcomed people lurking on this site at any given point. Even when there’s nothing controversial trending. Habashi are not out of the ordinary.

i remember going to calgary with an eritrian homie we stopped at an ethiopian restaurant and it took an absurdly long time to get my order specifically while people that came after me were getting served.

I took it to go and gave it a hobo, didn't trust them and didn't eat it.

No. They say it as "Habesha". Habashi is a Somali pronunciation. Arabs don't even use that term anymore. They say Athiopi.
I've noticed that American Habeshas tend to pronounce it with emphasis on the 'Ha' while in the UK and the Horn the emphasis is on the 'besha', and ferenjis, especially black people, pronounce it "Habeesha"
