You had Darod from Kismayo unite under Sheikh Sharif, Hawiya unite under Sheikh Sharif and all the minorities unite under this one man.
They opened the airport, accepted UN and Arab delegates, started fighting piracy and all of this by Somalis alone. No more checkpoints where people rob you of your money, no more clan warlords.
