H.E. President of Somalia Farmaajo welcomes 60th Anniversary of The Somali National Army

Same army who lost to Ethiopia. :hahaidiot:

Somalia captured past the Ogaden region in that campaign. And were fighting against a coalition of nations by the end of that war. In terms of military prowess the Somali military at that time outclassed the Ethiopian military easily. This is well documented information.

Siad Barre ordered general retreat from the captured western Somaliland. All for what? This order astounded most of the commanders.

An anniversary for a nonexistent army...

:patrice:
Let me know when they can wipe their ass without Ugandans.

The National Army has been building up for the past three years since this administration has set up biometric screening for all of the current troops and enlisted many thousands as well. The pay mechanism has made direct between the FGS and soldiers and their logistics have been improved as well. Many of the commando units were trained directly by two countries with top military capabilities such as the United States and Turkey.

As for the Ugandans and other AMSIOM troops. They were brought by your uncle Abdullahi Yusuf and their mandate will end soon.

There was a significant change in the battle has 15,000+ cuban soldiers were sent to aid the Ethiopians. Alongside Libyan, Yemeni and other Soviet satellite troops. The USSR was also directly involved and had their field generals assisting Ethiopia on the ground. Essentially it was multiple countries against Somalia. A tactical retreat at that point of the battle was an obvious outcome.

Somalia is in good hands Mashallah, the military generals are all young and educated. We desperately needed a strong SNA :)

What army? If there is an army in Somalia then we wouldn't need Amison to secure the Villa Somalia, bunch of buuns and glue sniffing RH can't be called a national army.

Fulay Farmaajo was scared to show up their anniversary last year and it looks like this year too, a fulay can't lead a town yet alone a country.

Two xafaaad lool.

N&N need to do better, the deadliest attack in Somali history happened under their watchful eye. Security in Xamar has to improve, however, depsite all their shortcomings they are still by far the best option for Somalia

4 more years of Farmaajo and 8 years of Kheyre, and with the foundations of a centralized state, and SNA we will finally have our country back. :friendhug:

The State ofSomaliland ex Protectorate of Somaliland had WW2 veterans im 1960. Somliataliana ak aka ItalianSomaliland had only a massive POLICE force. The mafiosi leaders of 1960s South pinnes MILITARY INSIGNIA on POLICEMEN who were ranked higher than MILITARY men from the North

Thats why MILITARY officers both Isaaq and and nonIsaaq staged a coup in 1960
