Somalia continues to fight insurgents with one arm tied behind its back, it's time our AU allies combine their influence in helping Somalia lobby for the arms embargo to be lifted so we can efficiently fight the insurgent scum and exterminate them once and for all.

Skirmishes between groups are few and far in between its a problem in this day and age. However international extremism back by foreign powers is a problem that must be tackled with fully trained and EQUIPPED Somali forces. The arms embargo being lifted will allow our key allies such as Turkey to provide us with world class weaponry and military equipment that will allow this fight to be concluded shortly.
The President is aware there are many young Somali men loyal to their government and ready to fight and they need the best equipment to efficiently take care of their missions. The southern regions know that with peace comes stability and this administration is fully committed to that. These insurgent groups target heavily packed civilian areas to cause a shock and awe factor, but we are not intimidated even a bit. The AMISOM contingent that was introduced in 2006 has done their job and now it’s time we takeover our own security.
We don't stop killing each other because no one can end the war without heavy weapons.
Only when a dominant faction is created will we put away our delusion ambitions and try to find other ways to enrich ourselves.
Until then every Somali will think they'll have a shot at being a top shot warlord or president.

Little skirmishes between crazy tribalists doesn't mean a whole army should be castrated. Sorry but if syria can have no arms embargo placed on them then that excuse of shabaab getting weapons is ridiculous and an outrageous stipulation for the removal of the arms embargo.
If warzones worse than our country infested with terrorists can still buy weapons, then we should also be able to arm our government soldiers. The whole argument of shabaab taking weapons is flawed and can also be applied to kenya tha cowards that recently failed to repel a shabaab attack on their military base, which one could also argue could have enabled shabaab to gain access to deadly firepower.
I'm against tribal conflict but lets be realistic. One who supports the docility of our national army by kafirs is not a wadani or a respectable somali in my eyes.

If the arm embargo is lifted then he might use it on JL or PL which could occur. But, if it is lifted I think it is accentual to use the resources responsibility at hand to ensure that national security is met.
Anyone who believes N&N lies is retarded and naive. We need the arms embargo lifted but not now since we don’t have a genuine government in place. We have kacaanists, UCS warlords and terrorists apart of our government. If the arms embargo is lifted, they will try to use it on SL, PL and JL and others. Failmaajo/N&N are hiding behind other narratives but they have evil intentions. Federalism allows this country to move forward and develop your regions without any interference or being tied to one city, Failmaajo wants to destroy that just like his dirty uncle destroyed this country. He’s further dividing this nation and his policies can cause a civil war or further division to happen.
