Yes she was pregnant with the other guys baby when she had this sham marriage with this other guy. She deceived both of them. So the kid's a wacel? Poor thing. The new guy divorced her and the babyfather doesn't want to claim her or the child.

In Islam nikkah is the base for starting family, it has to be public and witnessed (4 witnesses). There should be wali (male guardian for the woman) and consent from both parties, the agreed mehr.

Somalis and their actions sometimes contradict islamic laws. They care about how people view them than being steadfast in practicing what the religion wants them to do.
I remember a time when it was the norm to make sure the lady is pregnant before nikkah so that the marriage is less expensive and quick.
That's wecel kid you have and no nikkah is valid when she's pregnant and any sexual relationship after that is zina unless she gives birth and you have new nikkah. I am not aware of anyone doing that.
