They have mix ones now where it's not a nursing home but a old folk apartments you take care of yourself and they have 24/7 kitchen and nurses in the building also you can go out when you like do what you like it's like a community for old folks and your independent at the same time . A building suited for old people you pay your rent or the government does it for you .

It just dawned on me i am not retiring to Africa as i wanted. How can i? I can't handle Minnesota Hot summer, how can i survive in that African Sun heat where fobs turn black skin against their wish.


But i heard Nairobi is better, they have snow rain. But i hate nairobi, its very scary.

Africa being re-colonized and this time it will be destroyed for good and the climate change will make it even harder to live . So their will be probably no retirement in Africa for us shit even the food and housing is more expensive now then here in the west .

I can build a house in rural Europe rural Canada and America for 100k in Somalia it's reach 250 k in Hargeisa and Mogadishu houses are being built for 300k and it takes a arm and leg to maintain the houses back home . Food prices are going up back home as well .
Political stability in Africa is laughing matter any day your country can collapse in the curse continent .

Most of us will retire in the west .

That’s a true statement. I have found an introvert can grow to be more extroverted whereas the opposite is more difficult. I used to be more introverted than I am now and would feel drained in social settings. I still do but not as much.
