The house of Elders-Guurti has extended the term for the house of national assembly on Monday.
The session which was attended by 70 lawmakers of the house of elders extended 9 months for the parliament of Somaliland.
The house of elders speaker, Hon. Suleiman Mohamud Aden has chaired the session.
Guurti also decided that the parliament election will take place in December, 2019.
It is due that the term of Somaliland house of assembly will expire in January, 2020.
There is political impasse among the three political parties in Somaliland.
