Ausshussler,
The general food in the camps is some food donated by wfp, mostly floor, maize and beans/lentils. The are only two meals a day breakfast canjeero and super/night meal which is mix of maize and beans/lentils.
Food is limited and its distributed twice a month. One common thing is 99.99% of the population will not eat for 36hrs between the food distribution ration times. That's 72hrs a month.
The small houses are crowded and water is fetched from public taps that run for 4 hrs from 8-10 and 2:30 to 4:30.
Education was the only redeeming point, they get good education and I personally know 100s of refugee students who came through university scholarships to Canada
Ps. With many refugees coming to the west and supporting their families back in the camps the limited food changed.
