Dagalo is carrying out massive ethnic cleansing in Darfur.
15,000 were killed in a single city. Absolutely shocking. US is estimating 150,000 dead.
In terms of violent deaths, this war is now as large, if not larger, than the Somali Civil war.

Most of Somalis civil war deaths were caused by the man made famine that happened in baidoa area in the early 90s Sudan civil war is definitely a much larger conflict

Someone stop the UAE 😔 they are destroying every nation for gold and oil

I saw it a couple of days ago. The video has quality.

Sudan is always an introverted country, it's success and its tragedies are underreported. Only fringe reports by human rights investigations monitor these conflicts indirectly that might surface every quarter on the news as part of an analysis, where death tools range in extremes. The Sudanese diaspora are subdued as a people and as such dont carry political clout to pressure for outside help.

Our situation is nowhere near as dire as this.
Entire city having its inhabitants butchered and 10s of thousands of civilian caravans attempting to escape the city on foot mass murdered and raped, hunted like dogs. Sudanese Arabs are a different type of savage on par with hutu chimpanzees in Rwanda :what:

Yeah our issue is not arabisation but oromoisation

The RSF has now turned on their fellow Arabs. This report claims more than 100 women in one village in Al-jazeera state of Sudan committed mass suicide to avoid r@pe by RSF militiamen. R@pe and pillage to your heart's content is RSF creed. Mad Max in real life

Somalia has been a focal point for Gulf rivalries, especially between the UAE and Qatar. Somalia’s Federal Government has increasingly aligned itself with Qatar and Turkey. Qatar’s approach often involves diplomatic and financial aid to the Somali government, awhile as building the Hobyo port, while Turkey’s influence is seen through substantial investments in infrastructure, humanitarian aid, and security support, including training Somali forces. This pivot has also helped Somalia's government gain stability, as the UAE’s previous support for factions within Somalia contributed to internal divisions.

The UAE still retains a strong foothold within port infrastructure, primarily through DP World, which operates key ports, including Berbera in Somaliland and Bossaso in Puntland. These port deals are contentious, as they were often negotiated directly with regional administrations, sidelining the central government in Mogadishu.

Despite Somalia’s pivot to Qatar and Turkey, the UAE’s economic stakes in these ports give it a strategic advantage over trade and logistics in the region, keeping it relevant in Somali politics.

Wow these guys are screwed it looks like a hopeless situation

They been coming after Sudan for a long time now as soon it hit independence actually, lots of foreign hands and internal divisions to exploit, the internal situation and making yourself vulnerable is really their own fault noone else's, lax walbo meeshay is dhigto ayaa Lagu gowraca, this internal vulnerability is also seen in Somalia, as usual when you speak to both these nations ppl, their very quick to point to the foreign hand not the fact they themselves are divided and exposing themselves and then asking for some sort of mercy from foreigners, yeah good luck with that.

Horta the people there ancient people, now this is comes with its own challenges, just the sense of a history as long as ancient Egyptians.even the south Sudanese were clearly painted in the wall art of nations by ancient Egyptians attending diplomatic meetings. The Moors are also there especially in the border near Chad, then you also have the northern Sudanese who are more similar to Egyptians. Plus it's also a very ancient archaeological hub to loot which is another big motivation just like happening to Syria and Iraq it's not about petty oil or gold.

It was a shit show to start with to carve such crazy border, it should've been done with careful attention and precise and accurate Intel, most of these borders in Africa were carved by ignorant Europeans in a facist era and who only had an imperial and economic agenda, something the AU should itself look into if it's been workable or does it serve the interest of the people in the continent.
