I’m arguing with this artificial Somali identity created by colonialists. No tribe prior to colonialism identified as Somali, it’s a colonial artificial ethnic identity. You say mixed children identity are artificial when the ethnicity you adhere too was constructed by British & Italians.

They don’t only do it to those with Somali mothers but even those with Somali fathers. Had a few tell me on this forum that my son isn’t Somali as if my family or clan care what random anon strangers think.
this is why the federal government should allow half Somalis from their mother citizenship also.
it should be passed down if you have one Somali parent, that's pretty common in the world. also if Somalis are still Qabiilist in 50 years oromos should just come in and wipe everyone there out. Somalis aren't worth anything if their political thought is that stunted.

This isn’t a law that that will be changed any time soon imo, Somalia exists as a country beyond its recognized borders, it will always have an extremely nationalist constitution. There isn’t a flood of babies being born in Somalia to foreign men.
Any useful mixed race Somali born in the west will be treated like a local in the future though and will definitely be offered citizenship with a host of free benefits if Somalia improves
Somali minorities are under '0.5', so there is a place for them. Additionally, in places like Puntland, there is 1m1v and clan voting will be abolished there soon enough. Half Somalis should be welcomed.
Additionally, there are plenty of Somalised Somalis, so we can't have one rule for them and another rule for half-Somalis in present times.
Half Somalis with Somali mothers are more linguistically and culturally Somali than those with Somali fathers. That's an undisputed fact. Mothers hold the key to language, culture and socialisation as mothers tend to be the primary caretakers. Also, when it comes to social gatherings, it's women who tend to arrange them and hold court there. Their children sit at their feet/attend gatherings and know the culture/nuances etc.
That's why I find it audacious that there are people who try to ostracise people who are THIS Somali.
Either way, I know Somali women and sane Somali men, don't care to bully the few Half-Somalis in the world.
Look at Sheekh Maxamed Idriis today, Eritrean father, MJ mother and nobody can tell him he is not Somali.
