Abdi Rashid Sharmarke won democratic elections and he was Darood but so did first president of Somalia who was Hawiye.

Darood are more closer to Baratheon, Robert Baratheon the Somali version of Siad Barre. He hijacked Somalia from all other clans with Kacaan regime. The closest to Targaryans as well reign being characterized with madness and obsession with power (Siad Barre & Abdullahi Yusuf)



Hawiye are Lanneister they benefited the most of Somalia's instability and produced most of it's presidents. They value material gains more than political power. Hawiye care more about short sighted material gains (capital and UN aid) than leadership and long term stability (Mogadishou bombings, zero sum game strategy & corruption)



Rahanweyn are house Tyrell, numerous and own fertile lands but weak combat capabilities and no voice politically.


Isaaq are closer to stark, allied with Targaryans prior to the coup but got cheated on by Lanneisters than toke their ball home. Politically handicapped but have strong unified northern identity/loyalty.

MJs are like like House Martell, chilling in Dorn (PL) away from the rest.

Mx and langaab alliance (like tunageli greyjoys, and dhulbahante freys) are sailing/running around westeros as pawns. And the red wedding was when this alliance massacred the honourable Isaaq Starks.

The perfect last scene for me would be Jon snow killing deanyris close people in epic 1v1, especially the unsullied leader, than when he gets close to deanyris, her dragon comes, and she orders her dragon to burn down Jon, but to her surprise the dragon refuses, and then he reveals his identity.
