Most people recover from covid but rabies is more complicated. A dog attacked me once and I had to get vaccinated. It takes time for the symptoms to appear but once you have them it's too late. You have to be careful.
I just went to a nearby pharmacy to buy immonoglobulin luckily they have it in store it's quite expensive but living is more important
, I just hope these antibodies is efficient enough to reverse the damage

Going to a hospital is equivalent to asking for death
Most Covid-19 transmissions are from hospitals and public sectors because they admit more than 20 people which people are told off to leave as they don't have the capacity to facilitate more patients

I know a friend who went to a similar situation he was bit by a different breed of dog, he told me he was feeling agitated , fevers , hallucinations and Paralysis

Now I'm even more paranoid wlahi .

That's really bad...

You don't have to stay at the hospital. Explain your situation and ask for the vaccine.
You need several doses. I think I got 7 shots. Can't remember.

This is really bad wlhi , I'm rushing towards hospital as I speak
Okay I'll try my best to stay in topic.

So anyway @AbdiRastoole like everybody else said I advise you seek medical attention.

It's quite abnormal for a stray dog to attack someone with no reason especially on their own property. An overly aggressive dog is usually one of the signs of rabies.

So I'll repeat it again for your sake, go get help.
This thing just rushed to jump me out of nowhere , starved stray dogs kill and maul children to death ,it's not a normal dog you can tell by its long teeth .
They are infected creatures

It wasn't the anger and frustrations that overpowered me to kill the animal and I'm not one of those typical individuals that are overwhelmingly fond of animal cruelty , I could have pulled it off gently but it's teeth were stuck in my arm , leg and left a deep scar on my face ,
luckily I didn't lose much of blood , I understand from your point of view walaal that this may seem to be saddening and beyond cruelty and I acknowledge that posting it's picture is inappropriate because my immediate actions interpreted it differently, Ive only responded because this was life threatening , it could have attacked the vital veins or organs , the dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback is a carnivore that clash with lions and hyenas , not a dog you want to keep at home ,
mostly Boers are known to have guard at their farmhouses but in the end the owners are mauled to death.
The Ridgeback heads to cities and townships

I solemnly understand that , there is no way I can justify killing a living animal in that manner because then that would make me no different from the ones that hunt and poach wild animals for fun in Krugersdorp wilderness, which I oppose severely.
Also displaying this thread wasn't my intentions to bring outrage because I wanted to know if any SSPOTERS have encountered life threatening situation similar or been bitten by other wild animals.

I went to hospital , they put alcohol and various antiseptics to rinse of the infections I'll be getting the shots tomorrow morning inshallah

I can see that from your point of view, it might've been a frightening experience especially with all the risks so your reaction is understandable. I should've been more empathetic. Glad to hear that you will be treated soon so i'll make dua for you.

You don't have to apologize I would've shot that dog too with zero hesitation or remorse after. That thing was a threat and needed to be put down. What if it killed a kid and you chose to spare it??
