I was doing some reading in cousin marriages and their prevalence, I wanted to find some hard data and saw Google’s AI summary, which is the top result nowadays when you Google something, quoting an INSANE nearly 50% prevalence rate, and when clicking on the source, it is a 7-liked tweet from Grok who himself has been lobotomized and fed racist information, saying it is a “ballpark”.
Meanwhile actual scholar work says:
“…For the ethnic Somalis, marrying outside one’s own clan is encouraged in order to widen social relationships and create alliances”
“…In Somalia, marriage with close relatives such as cousins is mainly practiced by minority groups…”

The source I quote is a first-page source, both Google and Grok AI have access to millions of gigabytes of scholarly knowledge to base their models on, but they actively feed into paranoia instead and quote each other. The tech world has already shifted and is fully a part of the extreme right, while I don’t want to say anything conspiratorial. The Nazis as well spread fake and false information about certain “undesirable” peoples to further dehumanise and humiliate them to prime people for violent action.
